“By far the most common craving of pregnant women is not to be pregnant.”
Now this, and I do feel awful for saying this, but at times – is true. Well for me at least.
I love my unborn daughter with all my heart, and would give anything to ensure her safety but my god the 3rd trimester DRAAAGS!!
My morning sickness has lasted all the way through! I had Midwifes and nurses saying “oh dont worry it will all calm down soon” and before I hit the 20 week mark, I still believed them, but by 24 weeks I just wanted to empty my full-to-the-brim sick bowl over their damn heads! I didnt think it was possible to feel so uncomfotable/heavy/fit-to-burst, and im only 31 Weeks!! Trying to find a position to sit and chill, only to get a foot under my ribs or a hand tickling my pelvis bone (which is so painfull sometimes, as I am also blessed with Symphis Pubis Dysfunction!!
I love feeling you move and have a good wriggle but please stop using mummys’ bladder as a punching bag!
Oh!! The mood swings. My POOR fiance!!
Im turning into the devil! Honest to god!!
We were supposed to go to the cinema yesterday. We got to the corner around from the busstop and saw it pull away without us. I then raged like the lass from the exorcist, (full 360 head turn and everything,) burst into tears screaming “WHATS THE F***ING POINT?!!?!” as i swiftly turned on my heels and stomped home, all the while Craig was stood in the middle of the pavement wondering why Satan had just briefly taken over his partner!
I know as soon as I hold my baby girl in my arms for the first time I will forget all the pain and nausea, but for now, I write this as a reminder to myself!! My dream in life was to be a mum….but Craig can have the next one if he wants it so bad haha!!!
This is the picture we got from the sexing scan when we found out we were expecting a little girl – one of the happiest moments of my life 😀
We had pur scan done at Baby Its You near to where my Womens Hospital is, they were so lovely and helpful, even though my Ella was not playing ball at all and kept putting her hands inbetween her legs (insert ‘like father like daughter’ quote here hehe) and even the bed you lie on was so comfy! propped up with really fluffy pillows in perfect line with the flat screen telly on the other side of the room with a giant image of our daughter jumping about. Really worth the £60 quid ill tell ya! Ill pop a click – through – link to their website on Ellas picture as they are worth taking a look at if you are local to South Yorkshire x
So I kow that the 3rd trimester can be a stressful time, not only for me, but for all those that I drag into my hormonal pit with me, but having my other half deciding that now was the time to sign up for the Army (he wants our daughter to have the best upbringing possible, which isnt a bad thing in the slightest – quite the opposite, but still babe, ever heard of timing??) and because of this monumental decision, it means we wil have to get married sooner rather than later, later being what I had hoped for so Ella (our little princess-to-be) can be part of it all ( talk about doing things backward eh? its how i roll 😉 )
And to top it all off, We are living in my fathers attic at the moment because our finances fell through.I had to go on the sick at 17 weeks pregnant because of my constant vommiting, which by the way, is still on going to this very moment…. first trimester morning sickness my ass!!
I really wanted to start a blog when I first got pregnant but obviously my situation changed and I didnt have the time nor energy to put my mind to anything – apart from making it to the porcelain throne in time to say hello to my chicken fajitas once again! So I think now is the perfect time to start one, It can be my journal of sorts, a woman needs a place to rant!! Plus I type alot quicker than how I write so its sorta perfect!!
I appologise now for any rants and raves I put out there, I tend to have many opinions about a lot of different things so just take some of my rants with a pinch of salt!!
Anyhow Im off to catch up on the new series of Dr Who – yes I like Doctor Who and yes Sky+ is AWESOME! (dont judge me haha) so no doubt I will be back in a couple days with a new pregancny related rant (or hopefully rave)!
